How does the Drink Spike Detector work

Each card is about the size of a credit card and contains two tests, these 2 testing areas react with a visible colour change when they come in contact with a drink spiked with either GHB or Ketamine.

Due to their size and ease of use, the test cards are relatively inconspicuous and can be used very nonchalantly. The test takes only seconds to perform, and is as easy as placing a couple of drops from the drink in question onto our active test spots using a swizzle stick or even your finger.

The product has been independently forensically tested and the report states that the product does work.

How to test your drink

Using The Card Is Easy > Just Dip, Dab & Look! It's That Simple!

Using a swizzle stick, a straw or even your finger, place a drop of your drink onto the two test circles of one test area on the test card. Rub gently. Wait a few seconds until it dries.

If either test circle changes to a darker blue colour, it signals that your drink is contaminated and you should either inform the manager or contact the local police. Your drink should either be retained for further examination by the Police or be DISCARDED IMMEDIATELY!!!

Users are advised that the Drink Spike Detector will not effectively test all beverages and that there are occasions when a test may show a false reading. Many coloured beverages will impart a slight hue to test spots and this is not a positive result. Any blue or green coloured beverage or liquor can also show a false reading when applied to the Drink Spike Detector.

Furthermore, tap water and certain mineral waters may impart a transient blue hue to the test spots while the test is drying. This is not a positive result, and should dissipate when dry. Always use common sense and don't let anyone or anything lull you into a false sense of security. When in doubt with any beverage, always discard and NEVER LEAVE A DRINK UNATTENDED.
